(1) What do you do in your show? 

The magic show usually goes for 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on your needs. It is filled with lots of colourful/visual magic tricks. They are all age appropriate based upon the age of the audience. There is plenty of audience participation. Because the Birthday child is special we have a special magic trick to perform with his/her help. The show contains lots of comedy and some great photo opportunities. This is not just a "sit down and watch" show. The interaction, comedy and performance of a Magic Craig show is guaranteed to leave both the children and parents totally enthralled.

 

(2) Do you use animals?

Mr Rainbow the amazing Rabbit makes a magical appearance at the end of every show. All the children get the opportunity to pat him. Another great photo opportunity!

 

(3) Will the children understand the magic? Could they be too young?

I have developed a show that will keep most children entertained for 45 minutes. It is aimed at their level of understanding and humour. No tricks go “over their heads”. It is very visual and very funny. Shows are designed for children between 3 and 9 years of age.

 

(4) Where is the best place to have the show?

The show should be indoors, against a wall with an open space for the children to sit on the floor. Whenever possible, the show should not be outdoors. Outside there are many influences that can make the show less enjoyable for your guests. Hot sunlight, wind, insects, threat of rain, noise from other sources, and poor acoustics, all make the experience for the children less than ideal.

 

(5) What kind of clothes do you wear? Do you dress like a clown?

As you can see from some of the photos I do not dress like a clown. Many young Children are frightened when a large, colourful, strangely dressed person (with lots of energy) bursts into a party – they are not use to it. I try to minimise this problem by toning it down slightly. I still wear a brightly coloured vest and shirt, and let the magic dazzle them instead.

 

(6) Can we take pictures?

Take all the pictures you want. The only thing I request is that you don’t videotape the whole show. If you need to videotape, please just tape the birthday child during their starring performance. 

 

(7) Can the adults watch the show? 

Of course! I actually recommend it. Enjoying the day with your child is what it is all about. Sharing such a unique, fun filled experience with your child is something you will both cherish for a long time afterwards. Most parents laugh themselves silly too!

 

(8) How much does the show cost?
